1. Brother IntelliFax-4100e is great. You will lose $$$ from BND
We bought a Brother IntelliFax-4100e in 2003 (9 years ago) for one office - it is still running faithfully. For our main office we bought a 4100e in May of 2007 (5-1/2 years ago) - it receives much more heavy use, and it is time to replace it. We are happy to do so with the same model. It is just a good, solid, reliable fax machine. If you have high fax volume, and want a traditional fax machine, and don't need extended capabilities of a multifunction machine, this will fax, copy, and you can pick up the unit's phone handset if you need to talk to someone. Supplies are reasonable.

Just avoid paying 'BUY NOW DIRECT' (BND) prices - it is WAY less expensive for the same model via Brother ($199.99 at the end of October 2012), or via www.Amazon.com ($181.98) - from whom I am purchasing the replacement. $799.99? BND - how can you charge $500 more than Brother's suggested retail of $299.99? Only *if* BND were to offer competitive pricing on this and other products would I ever...
